Forward with God

We believe God is calling us to increase our pursuit of the hopeless and hurting, improve and expand current ministries, and create opportunities and space for people to gather for encouragement, truth, and to worship God. We believe God asks us to dream with Him as He leads us to be part of His vision for this region. 

Our desire is to keep you informed and invite your participation in current and future capital improvement projects. Every future project will be carefully researched, planned, and completed in such a way that brings kingdom impact while glorifying God. The Elders and Directional Leaders are committed to moving forward only on projects where the object is clear and there is unity in the timing and manner in which they will be completed.  

On June 30, 2019, we celebrated paying off our church mortgage. For years, our congregation faithfully supported the ministries of Community through the FIRST offering and then gave a SECOND offering that accelerated this payoff. Becoming debt-free was a milestone of faith that positioned us to move with God as He reveals His plans through Community Church for this region and beyond.

In 2020-21, God provided provision over and above ministry funding that allowed us to update our video surveillance and security system and replace conventional lighting throughout our facilities with LED lighting. We also began clearing several walking trails on our 90-acre property.

In 2022-23, God continued to bring provision that allowed us to meet with architects and civil engineers to begin master planning facility and recreation space.  Also, we purchased a commercial mower, added a storage building, and recarpeted our worship center, nursery, and dining area.  In addition, we were able to start a new outreach ministry in our region. This outreach began with volunteer leaders laying out an 18-hole Disc Golf course. Then, several people joined a Trail Life project and installed 18 disc golf baskets. 

In 2024, we finished and opened our18-hole Disc Golf course on Father's Day .

2024 Projects include:

• Improving our security and the learning environments for children.
• Increasing the number of learning spaces and opportunities for adults and families.
• Expand our Hope and Healing ministries to meet emotional and mental health needs through Spirit-led Biblical counseling.

This will be accomplished by:

• Remodeling the current Community Center and changing it into our Children's Center to provide adequate space and better security for the nursery and elementary ministries. Combining our children's ministries in one location dramatically improves our ability to regulate access and traffic in their areas.
• After the remodel, raise the funds and build a new Community Center west of the current one. We are debt free, so we will not begin until we have the funds for each phase of construction. This will allow adult classes who will meet in the main building to move their location.  
• The new building will be connected by covered walkways, patios, and recreation space.
