Handymen For Christ exists to help open hearts to the love of Jesus by modeling that love through assisting with immediate repairs or project needs around the house. There are times in life when unforeseen needs arise due to illnesses, loss of a job, family crises, etc. Through Community Church, Handymen for Christ provides assistance to help alleviate some of the stresses that come with these circumstances. This could include help for senior citizens, widows, persons with physical handicaps, etc.
Projects could include minor painting, light bulb replacement, air filter change, sink and toilet repair, yard cleanup, handicap ramp installation, and gutter cleaning. It is not the mission of this ministry to compete with local contractors but to focus their help on those who do not have other support. Team members are not able to work on projects that require a building permit, a licensed electrician or plumber, or many days of effort.
Once your needs are assessed, a team member will discuss a solution and whether the ministry can assist or not. If the project is determined to be in the scope of this ministry, a team member will give an estimated day and time, based on available team members and resources.
