FIRST IMPRESSIONSWhether someone is checking out the website, social media, or visiting for the first time on-campus, we want to comunicate our heart and help visitors feel welcome! The First Impressions Team spans a wide variety of roles but the heart is the same -- to be a reflection of Christ's heart to the community!
PARKING TEAM: Greet guests by smiling and attempting to genuinely connect with them through their windshield. We have signs available, which adds an impactful touch! Clearly direct guests to available parking spots and into the building.
GREETING TEAM: Greet each guest enthusiastically. Show them that you are glad they are here. Maintain positive body language (smile, make eye contact, stand with good posture).
COFFEE TEAM: Welcome every guest who approaches the hospitality area and assist them as needed. Consistently provide the coffee and water in a neat, well-presented area. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hospitality area as well as seating areas throughout the lobby.
USHER TEAM: Be proactive! Actively look for guests to assist and politely inform them that you have seats for them. Maintain positive body language (keep your back to the stage, smile, make eye contact, and stand with good posture). Quietly move to the back of the auditorium to prepare for passing of the communion and offering. Usher Team members should use flashlights in the auditorium, if needed
PREP TEAM: Prepare each seat in the auditorium for our guests, making sure all supplies are in place, and the area is free of debris. Pray over the seats in the auditorium.
INFO TEAM: You’ve set the stage for God to do what only He can do. Welcome guests who approach the ConnectHere Booth (Connections Central). Assist new guests by answering questions or walking with them to tour different areas of the church. Have knowledge of each ministry area including ages and locations.
This team has a very sweet job! When someone signs up to be baptized, a member of the baptism team reaches out to them before and answers any questions they made have. They also make sure the morning of baptism, the person knows where to go and afterward they mail the person their certificate.
First impressions are important! We understand the value of communicating who we are and what we're about through social media, graphics, print and online materials, and more! If you have an eye for graphic design or a way with communciating online, sign up to be a part of the communications team.
FACILITIES & GROUNDS
We want visitors to feel welcome on our campus! That's why a clean lobby, neatly mowed lawn and flowerbeds that are cared for are all a part of creating a welcoming environment. If you're interested in mowing a portion of the lawn or helping maintain other areas of campus, we'd love for you to be a part!
